You’ll want to become a self-sufficient broker and build a client bank. You must be willing to build introducer relationships and develop your networking skills. That’s their USP: They’re good humans who support people in growing and building a business.

You’ll receive a 70 % commission split (no Top slicing), which will revert to 80% as long as you achieve 50k of annual turnover.

  • Gross commission rates from Quilter Protection at 230%

  • Fees charged £69 per week

  • Standard client fee £595 and £99 fee

PROPOSITION OVERVIEW

Whole of market offering (with broker support desk)
Our advisers offer whole of market mortgage advice and access a whole of market protection panel solution, ensuring that they have access to both high quality and cost effective client solutions. We have an in-house mortgage desk and a business development manager for extra support on complex cases.

High-quality client proposition
The customer is always the primary focus of our work, and our client proposition truly reflects this. The proposition covers mortgage advice, protection needs, conveyancing, Buildings and Contents insurance, Wills, and LPAs if required, making it a true one-stop shop for your clients. Advisers can be proud and confident that they offer a high-quality proposition and service.

Multiple earnings opportunities
You will be able to both help your clients and generate income from arranging mortgage loans, protection, buildings and contents (refer or advise), conveyancing (refer), Wills and LPA (refer), equity release (advise if qualified or refer), Savings, Investments and Pensions (refer).

Lead Generation
We have limited opportunities to supply a guaranteed number of high-quality leads to the right advisers.

Administration
All advisers have free access to administration support, which means you can spend more time with clients and less time looking at a screen.

Self Marketing support
Unless you have more clients than you need, you must think and act as a business person. We will help to guide you in generating a personalised business plan. We have a great deal of experience and many ideas that you can easily lock into that will help you achieve your desired success. We also have a library of approved social media posts, fliers, leaflets, adverts and other material to help you promote yourself in your local area and on social media.

Supported environment
Don’t expect to be managed. You run your own business and will have complete freedom to do so however you want. We will, however, provide support tailored to your needs. All joiners will be supported by a business development manager (an active mortgage broker) who will be on hand to help you in any way you need. We also have an online adviser forum and regular virtual team meetings and training sessions where you can interact with your colleagues throughout the UK.

High-quality ongoing training
Be your best with help through formal courses, remote learning, 1 to 1 support and adviser events.

Financial adviser school
If you want to attain your level 4 DipFA qualification and operate as a Financial Planner, you can take advantage of the Quilter Financial Adviser School (after a qualifying period). You need to commit one day per week to training, and after around 40 weeks, you could qualify as a Financial Planner.

Remote education via our Learning Academy system
Videos, user guides, learning material and self-testing are available online 24/7.

Modern and fully integrated IT system
The high-quality support system, from fact finds through loan and protection sourcing to suitability letter generation and income payment, successfully saves time and reduces the re-keying of information.

Team environment
We actively encourage advisers to interact with each other and share ideas and best practices with colleagues. Regular “ideas factory” online meetings are in place to save advisers from reinventing the wheel.

Competitive income share
Your net income should be the driver, not just the lowest rates. Whilst there may be cheaper host firms in the UK, don’t be taken in by the “smoke and mirrors”. We firmly believe you will not earn more elsewhere due to the high gross rates, support, technology, lead generation, marketing support and earnings opportunities.
