Just had a chat with a very successful business owner in the Agricultural sector. I’ve known him for 15 years and we got chatting about the staff.
He told me that he has staff who he hired when they were 17 years old, who are now in their 60’s and still work for him!
I asked what his secret was?
This is what he said…….
‘I trust them to get on with the job, they know where I am if they need me and I don’t change things much, I guess I’m pretty laid back but will get involved if needed’
